Learn on a real cutting table, not a classroom mock-up
Most tailoring courses teach cutting and stitching on practice cloth that never becomes anything. At Suit Up, you learn inside a working bespoke studio — the same cutting table, the same tools, and the same eye for fit that has shaped suits in Daryaganj since 1948.
Master Kailash Talreja, the third generation to run the studio, teaches the course directly: how to read a fabric before you cut it, how a seam margin is left for a garment that will be worn for years, and how a dart is shaped around a body rather than a size chart.
This is a dedicated men's tailoring and cutting course — every module is built around menswear, from shirts through to a full suit.

About Master Kailash Talreja
Kailash Talreja is the third generation of a tailoring family that began cutting cloth in Sindh in the 1930s, in undivided India. The family re-established the business in Delhi in 1948, as Sindh Punjab Tailors — the studio that operates today as Suit Up by Kailash Talreja, in Daryaganj.
He is the named craftsman and face of the studio, and teaches this course directly, on the same cutting table where the studio's bespoke work is done.

Questions before you enquire
Is this course for men's tailoring specifically?
Yes. This is a dedicated men's tailoring and cutting course, focused on menswear — shirts, trousers, jackets, and suits.
Do I need prior tailoring experience?
No. The course starts from measuring and pattern drafting, so you can begin with no prior experience.
Can I watch lessons before I join?
Yes — short video lessons and tutorials covering techniques used in the course are on our YouTube channel, linked above.
Is this course available online, or only in Delhi?
In person only, on the studio floor in Daryaganj. There is no online or remote version — though video lessons are available to watch beforehand.
What will I be able to make by the end?
By the final module, you will have cut, constructed, and finished one complete men's garment from your own pattern.
How is this different from a fashion design diploma?
This is a hands-on cutting and tailoring course, not a full design diploma — the focus is the craft of pattern drafting, cutting, and construction rather than design theory.
